New employees join Friendship State Bank, community bank grows

4/24/03 - Friendship, IN – The Friendship State Bank recently announced three new positions affecting area branches, effective April 14, 2003. All positions were newly created due to the continued growth of the community bank.

Since December, 2002, The Friendship State Bank has added 12 new employees to fill 9 new positions at the bank and at Friendship Insurance.

Amy Stutler will be a floating teller, serving customers at all five bank branches. A native of Friendship, she previously was a teacher’s assistant for five years at the Milan Elementary School working with handicapped children.

Rachel Grossman will fill a new Loan Processor position at the Friendship branch. She previously held the Secondary Mortgage Processor position for MainSource in Greensburg, Indiana. Rachel lives in Holton and also attends IUPU.

Brenda Hance will fill a new Loan Processor position at the Versailles branch. She previously held the Head Teller position for Integra in Versailles, Indiana.

According to Friendship State Bank Human Resources Director Jenny Darnold, the moves were made to accommodate the growth the community bank has experienced in the last year and to continue to serve the bank’s customers.

“Thanks to continued growth, especially in loans, we’re able to create more and better jobs for the people in our community,” Darnold said. “We’re looking forward to growing right along with our neighbors in the area.” FRIENDSHIP STATE BANK – New employees join Friendship State Bank, community bank grows- 2 of 2
