Ally the Alligator

Ally the Alligator It was a cool, crisp, fall morning. The sun was slowly making its way up in the dark blue sky. Ally was sluggishly getting up of her river bank bed in the Nile River. She was met by her best friend, her only friend, Timmy the tick bird, who lives in the Western Desert. As they made their way down the river to Lake Nasser they met the meanest alligator bullies in the whole Nile River. Their names were Annie and Alex. They always picked on Ally especially when she was with Timmy. Today was no surprise. They started picking on her and Timmy. “You are such a loser!” Annie laughed, “You and your little buddy are like so uncool.” Alex rolled his eyes and said “Yeah I know you would be a lot cooler if you didn’t hang out with that Timmy freak.” What Alex had said hurt Timmy. It tore him up inside. Timmy’s eyes started to water and he quickly flew away. Ally tried to stop him but it was too late. He was all ready way up in the smoky gray sky. It hurt Ally to see Timmy this gloomy it made her angry. Ally snapped at Annie and Alex, “At least I have a friend you two are so mean that nobody wants to even talk to you” , she said. Annie and Alex were shocked of what they just heard Ally say, they were so stunned they couldn’t say anything back; they just swam away. Ally felt wonderful inside, this was the first time stuck up for herself. She didn’t think she had it in her to actually talk to a bully that way. She thought to herself, oh I can’t wait to tell Timmy what I just did, he will be proud of me. But where is Timmy? She noticed that Timmy had flown away when Alex had offended him. She went looking for Timmy. “Timmy, Timmy, Timmy”, she yelled at the top of her lungs, but there was no answer. Then she witnessed the most horrible thing ever… Just as she turned the corner she saw another alligator gobble up Timmy, the feathers were flying. As tears started coming down her scaly face the alligator turned around. IT WAS ANNIE!!! Annie saw Ally and started swimming toward her. Ally started to turn away; Annie yelled out, “Hey Ally wait up!” Ally turned back to Annie, tears flowing down her face. Annie was having awesome time, to make things worse she told Ally that Timmy landed on her, thinking it was Ally. Of course Annie was really hungry, so she had to eat him because it was an easy catch and a yummy in her tummy lunch. Ally was now crying extremely hard, she was about to tell Annie something when Annie swam away laughing. Ally couldn’t believe this was happening to her. She felt as if the world was tumbling all around her. She had no one to turn to because the only one she ever turned to was Timmy and now he’s gone. Ally cried and cried. Suddenly she heard someone say, “Are you hunky-dory?” It was coming from behind her. She turned around and there floating was an alligator. Ally never seen this alligator before, she was new. The alligator introduced herself, “Sorry I forgot to mention my name, I’m Alicia.” Then she asked, “Why are you crying?” Ally sadly replied, “Timmy, sniff sniff, my best friend, sniff sniff, just got eaten by another alligator.” Time went by and Ally finally got over Timmy’s death. She made a new friend, Alicia. Alicia and Ally now do everything together like her and Timmy used to. Annie and Alex got paid back from all the bullying they did. They got bullied by an even bigger alligator and now they are nice to Ally and everyone else.
