STEM Exploration Summer Camp- FREE! April 28, 2017 Dear Parent,

We are pleased to announce that your child has an opportunity to participate in a fun and intellectually stimulating STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Day Camp this summer. STEM Exploration Summer Camp will be held at H.L. Harshman Magnet Middle School, June 19-22nd from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 2017. Lunch and transportation will be provided for your child with no cost to your family. Throughout this week, your child will be doing hands-on science with many interesting activities that include STEM subjects while exploring the environment in and around the school (e.g. pollination buzz, soil discoveries, health science, soy polymers and more). We will be learning science together by doing science together. Students will also learn about careers and pathways to preparedness in STEM-related fields. Camp promises to be a great experience your child will remember for many years to come and will build skills to prepare him/her for future success. A limited number of spaces are available for students, therefore it is essential to secure your student’s space in the program early. Additionally, we must ask that you and your child make a commitment to attend every day and abide by a code of conduct that will promote learning for all. If you would like to take advantage of this learning opportunity, you must return the registration packet to your child’s teacher by May 5, 2017.
