Minutes Item Ref Action LD welcomed the members to the first Patient group and introduced the purpose. The practice is keen to work with patients to deliver services and seek views on service improvement. The group ideally should be patient led but the practice would support and facilitate this whilst the group was in formation. LD presented a brief history of the development of LD issue Patient Participation, its links to National draft Association of Patient Participation groups (NAPP) constitution and also the progress throughout the year. A draft PPG Constitution to wider constitution was issued for the group to consider Patient and agreed to revisit at next meeting in June. group for agreement The group decided that a Mission statement PPG wasn’t necessary but that the draft presentation presentation.ppt was fine to deliver to the next meeting in June The group discussed links to the existing Charity LD/JM to fund, established some time ago to receive discuss links Letter to charity donations and provide funds to members of the committee 1 feb 2012.doc with Charity community. JM and LD would also attend the committee following charity committee meeting to share this discussion LD presented the initial responses to the patient patient survey report LD to advise survey released in Feb. Some items had already group of been addressed but others required more detailed progress review. The practice action plan will be reviewed PPG report Mar 2012 at next meeting - comments and actions Next meeting to be in June, all PRG members to LD to invite be invited and set next date
