TYLER HOOKER Tyler Hooker, a 6’ point guard, signed a grant in aid and joined the Owls in January. He was attending Moravian Prep (NC). In high school, Hooker played at Hillcrest HS leading them to two straight state championship games his junior and senior seasons.

“Losing YB, we were looking for a point guard that had some quickness and some ball handling ability,” head coach Al Skinner said. “We feel strongly that Tyler can fill that role. He’s a little bit bigger as well, so in the long run we hope he can have similar type of success that YB has had here.”

ISAAC MBUYAMBA Isaac Mbuyamba, a 6’6” power forward, signed an NCAA Letter of Intent with the Owls and will join the team for the 2016-17 season. He is from Portland, Oregon and attends Parkrose HS. Mbuyamba was a second-team Northwest Oregon Conference selection as a junior last season.

“We’re going to be lacking in some rebounding and his energy is going to be very important to us,” Skinner said. “He brings a lot of intangibles that I think are important for a team to be successful. We’ve filled two roles that will allow us to improve and have some success as we move forward.”

JOHANNES NIELSEN Nielsen, a 6’9” forward from Denmark, played one year with Global Squad and led the team in points, free-throw per- centage and double-doubles. He helped guide the team to a 16-4 record during the season.

“We’re real happy with this last signee,” head coach Al Skinner said. “We needed some size in the front court with a good skill level and he supplies us with all of that. He has a pretty good understanding of the game and he recognized the opportunity and was willing to take advantage of it.” THE STAT CREW SYSTEM Kennesaw State Combined Team Statistics (as of Feb 25, 2016) Conference games
