Carf-Ccac Simulation Training

CARF-CCAC SIMULATION TRAINING

CONFIDENTIALITY UNDERSTANDING

CARF-CCAC utilizes a simulated survey experience as an essential component of its surveyor training activities. To provide this experience, rehabilitation organizations with the help and support of surveyors at those organizations have generously shared documents and materials with CARF-CCAC. Although documents have been gathered from actual rehabilitation organizations, alterations to the documents have been made to promote specific learning goals and to protect the confidentiality of the persons served by the organization. The information and documents presented in the simulation do not reflect the actual performance or conformance to standards of the organizations that shared materials for use in the simulation.

While the names of most staff members from the organizations have been changed, some names of actual staff members may be used during the role play activities. Role play activities do not reflect the actual personalities or characteristics of those staff members.

Please remember the importance of respecting the confidentiality of materials used in the simulation and in any information about staff members or others represented in the simulation. The CARF-CCAC staff requests that trainees refrain from discussing the content or roles of the simulation experience with anyone following the formal training including other CARF surveyors.

CARF-CCAC wishes to express its gratitude to The Arbors, Inc. and Senior Resource Group for their generous support and assistance in developing this training experience.
