Texas Hill Country Chapter Meeting Minutes September 8, 2005
Meeting Topics:
Chapter Business - Membership
Bob Bianconi gave an overview of the National “Member-Get-A-Member” campaign. SESHA membership has been declining for a variety of reasons. Existing members are encouraged to recruit new members and become eligible for prizes. Cash prizes are awarded every 3 months and the grand prize –an iPod – will be given away at the 2006 Symposium. Thanks Bob for making the drive!
Ed McCarthy discussed the benefits of membership with a special emphasis on Corporate Memberships. Please contact Ed if your company is interested in a Corporate Membership.
Chapter Business – Semiconductor Emergency Response Forum (SERF) Discussion Groups
Everyone is encouraged to participate in the SERF Discussion Group. Currently you do not have to be a SESHA member to log on to the SERF and provide your input or get your questions answered regarding emergency response in the semiconductor and related industries. If you are a SESHA member the number of constructive comments you post through September 30 might help the Texas Hill Country Chapter win a reward!
