California Assisted Living Association Northern California Excellence in Service Award Outstanding Department Director Spring 2018 Nomination Guidelines Deadline: January 19, 2018

CALA members are continually setting standards of excellence, demonstrating superior achievements and delivering outstanding care to residents in Assisted Living communities. We are pleased to announce the Call for Submissions for CALA’s Excellence in Service – Outstanding Department Director Award, which will recognize an exceptional department director at the 2018 CALA Spring Conference & Trade Show. CALA members are encouraged to submit nominations for department directors who fit the criteria below.

Description:

This award shall be presented to an exceptional department director that has demonstrated through words and deeds outstanding leadership, as well as a team approach and a strong commitment to the residents and community.

Award Highlights:

The honoree will be announced and recognized at CALA’s 2018 Spring Conference & Trade Show in Sacramento and will be featured in the CALA News & Views and on the CALA website. A press release, narrated video and pictures will be provided to the award winner’s Assisted Living company and community.

To Participate:

Complete and submit the Excellence in Service – Outstanding Department Director application no later than January 19, 2018.

Review and Selection Process:

All entries received by January 19, 2018 will be reviewed by a selection committee.

The Call for Nominations for the Fall (to take place in southern CA) will be announced in May, 2018. Members of the California Assisted Living Association (CALA) are committed to providing residents with quality care and quality of life. CALA’s Excellence in Service Awards recognize those individuals whose service results in enhanced quality of care and quality of life for Assisted Living residents in California. Selected nominations October be archived and available for on-site review at CALA events. Award recipients will be discussed at CALA events, in the CALA News & Views, and on the CALA website. Specific information, including pictures (name, organization and other details, etc.) October be shared at the CALA website and at CALA events.
