Chn to play ‘Happy Families and collect the word families. Deal out the cards. Assign a player a family to collect. First player to ask the player of his choice do you have (for example) master ight? (say the letter names) Player replies, I have night – is that who you are looking for? If the first player thinks that night is spelt with ight then he takes the card. Player 2 may respond with any card in his hand – it is up to player 1 to decide if it is the correct spelling for his family. If he takes the card and it is not in his family it stays in his hand. Players to try to collect all the members of the family and lay them on the table when they have all 4.
