THIS MATTER having come on before the undersigned this day on the

Petitioner’s motion for the issue of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, Petitioner appearing by and through his/her attorney, ______, the Court having reviewed the file and the supporting affidavit(s), and having heard the statements of counsel, it is now

ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that a Writ of Habeas Corpus issue directing the Sheriff of Douglas County and any other peace officer in the State of Washington to locate and take ______into 2 immediate custody and bring such child/children before the Douglas County

Superior Court; it is further

ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that in the event the Superior

Court is not in session at the time such child/children is/are taken into custody, the child/children shall be placed in the care, custody and control of the Department of

Social and health Services until the next day on which the Superior Court is in session; it is further

ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that the Department of Social and

Health services shall place the child/children into protective custody and shall only release the child/children to the Sheriff or any other peace officer of the State of

Washington acting pursuant to this Order, or upon a further Order of this Court to a person specifically authorized to receive the care, custody and control of the child/children; it is further

ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that the Sheriff and any other peace officer may break and enter any outer or inner door or other opening of any building, structure, vehicle, or other enclosure in which they have reason to believe the child/children is/are located or where information pertaining to the location of the child/children may be found; it is further

ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that the Sheriff and any other peace officer may arrest any person who stands in the way, obstructs or otherwise prevents their lawful efforts to obtain immediately custody of the child/children and to bring such person(s) before the Douglas County Superior Court for questioning; it is further 3 ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that, in the event the Superior

Court is not in session at the time of arrest, the Sheriff and any other peace officer shall hold any person who stands in the way, obstructs or otherwise prevents lawful efforts to obtain immediate custody of the child/children in the Chelan County

Regional Jail until the next day on which the Superior Court is in session.
