These shows are sanctioned by the American Dairy Goat Association and ADGA Rules Shall Govern. ONLY American Dairy Goat Association, American Goat Society, and Canadian Goat Society registered, recorded, or applied-for animals may be shown in an official American Dairy Goat Association show.

1. These shows aresanctioned by the American Dairy Goat Association for the following breeds:Alpine, Toggenburg, Nigerian Dwarf, Nubian, Recorded Grade, AOP . This will be a 3-ring event, the judges and secretaries will move to the appropriate show ring. Order of show for Karen Senn’s show: Sr. Does - ND, AL, TG (break for milk-out) AOP, NUB, RG (break for milk-out); Jr.Does – ND, AL, TG, AOP, NUB, RG; Bucks – ND & AOP Order of show for Lynn Benedict’s show: Sr. Does - TG, ND, AL (break for milk-out) RG, AOP, NUB (break for milk–out); Jr. does – TG,ND, AL, RG, AOP, NUB; Bucks – Nubian, AOP, ND Order of show for Marie Layman’s show: Sr. Does – AL, TG, ND (break for milk-out), Nubian, RG, AOP (break for milk-out); Jr. does – AL, TG, ND, NUB, RG, AOP; No buck show 2. Entry fee per show is: $10 for the 1st 5 goats entered $7.50 for the next 5 goats entered $5.00 for the next 10 goats entered No charge for additional goats (over 20). Entry fees not paid by the show date (July 3, 2010) will incur a $25.00 late fee. Entry fees are calculated on the number of goats actually shown in the ring. 3. The base date for figuring age is: July 3, 2010.

4. The original registration certificate (or a duplicate application stamped by ADGA office for animals under 6 months of age) is required for all animals and this must be show to the Show Secretary before the start of the show. NO COPIES of the registration certificate or of the stamped duplicate application, telegrams or phone calls will be accepted in lieu of the original certificate. The original registration certificate is required of all animals six months of age or older, and this must be shown before the start of the show.

5. There will be not be a VET Check. Any goats showing signs of infectious conditions such as external parasites, abscesses, respiratory diseases, etc. may be asked to leave the grounds. Show Committee shall rule.

6. Exhibitors are expected to present a neat appearance in the show ring. Acceptable attire is white, black or khaki pants and a white shirt, no open toe shoes.

7. There will be a Pre-show Check-in at the July1, 2010 Alaska Dairy Goat Association, Inc. meeting or by appointment with a show secretary. Papers not checked at a preshow check- in, must by checked by 10 AM on the day of the show.

8. The Sr. Doe show will begin at 11AM. It will be a 3-ring show, judges and secretaries will move to the appropriate ring. Order of show for Karen Senn’s show: Sr. Does - ND, AL, TG (break for milk-out) AOP, NUB, RG (break for milk-out); Jr.Does – ND, AL, TG, AOP, NUB, RG; Bucks – ND & AOP Order of show for Lynn Benedict’s show: Sr. Does - TG, ND, AL (break for milk-out) RG, AOP, NUB (break for milk–out); Jr. does – TG,ND, AL, RG, AOP, NUB; Bucks – Nubian, AOP, ND Order of show for Marie Layman’s show: Sr. Does – AL, TG, ND (break for milk-out), Nubian, RG, AOP (break for milk-out); Jr. does – AL, TG, ND, NUB, RG, AOP; No buck show The Junior and Senior shows ARE sanctioned separately.

9. There will not be a pre-show milk out. Please no over uddering. Visibly leaking udders may be excused from the ring.

10. Owner of the animal is responsible for correct tattoo of the animal. Be sure the animal’s tattoo reads the same as the registration or recording certificate.
