FOURTH SENATE DISTRICT
Fourth. All of Caroline, Essex, Lancaster, Middlesex, Northumberland, and Richmond Counties; part of Hanover County comprised of the Ashcake (103), Atlee (304), Battlefield (401), Beaverdam (201), Beaverdam Creek (406), Black Creek (404), Blunts (202), Chickahominy (302), Clay (301), Cold Harbor (403), Cool Spring (305), Courthouse (206), Georgetown (506), Goddin's Hill (204), Hanover Grove (604), Laurel Meadow (507), Mechanicsville (603), Newman (503), Old Church (402), Pebble Creek (405), Rural Point (502), Shady Grove (303), Sliding Hill (104), Stonewall Jackson (602), Studley (504), Totopotomoy (505), and Village (601) Precincts; part of King George County comprised of parts of the Courthouse (101) and Shiloh (401) Precincts; part of Spotsylvania County comprised of the Blaydes Corner (102), Lee Hill (403), Massaponax (104), Partlow (101), Summit (401), and Travelers Rest (103) Precincts; and part of Westmoreland County comprised of the Precinct 1-1 (101), Precinct 1-2 (102), and Precinct 2-1 (201) Precincts.
Precincts shall be interpreted to refer to those in existence on April 1, 2011, and as reported by the United States Bureau of the Census in the 2010 Census reports provided pursuant to United States Public Law 94-171, notwithstanding subsequent changes made by localities.
The following descriptions are provided for information purposes only pursuant to § 30- 264 of the Code of Virginia. The provisions of § 24.2-303.3 of the Code of Virginia, including the statistical report referenced in and on file with the Clerk of the House of Delegates, shall be controlling in any legal determination of the district boundary.
A. Part of Hanover County contained within a line described as follows:
1. Beginning at the intersection of the Hanover County—Louisa County— Spotsylvania County boundaries:
2. clockwise southeast on the Hanover County northern boundary shared with Spotsylvania, Caroline, and King William Counties to the Hanover County eastern boundary shared with King William and New Kent Counties
3. southeast on the Hanover County eastern boundary to the Hanover County southern boundary shared with Henrico County
4. northwest on the Hanover County southern boundary to I-95
5. north on I-95 to Lewistown Road (State Route 802)
6. west on Lewistown Road to Washington Highway (U.S. Highway 1)
1 7. north on Washington Highway to the southern Ashland town boundary
8. north on the eastern and then northern Ashland town boundary to I-95 at a point . 07 miles north of the I-95/Jamestown Road intersection
9. north on I-95 to the South Anna River
10. west on the South Anna River to the Newfound River
11. west on the Newfound River to the Hanover County—Louisa County boundary
12. northeast on the Hanover County—Louisa County boundary to the intersection of the Hanover County—Louisa County—Spotsylvania County boundaries, the beginning point.
B. Part of King George County contained within a line described as follows:
1. Beginning on the King George County—Caroline County boundary in the Rappahannock River at its intersection with the extension of an unnamed road that runs southeast from the end of Lagrange Lane:
2. clockwise northwest .1 miles on the extension and unnamed road (eastern boundary of census block 510990404001057) to Lagrange Lane (State Route 605)
3. northwest .66 miles on Lagrange Lane to Kings Highway (State Route 3)
4. northeast and east on Kings Highway to Indiantown Road (State Route 610)
5. north .36 miles on Indiantown Road to a power line (identified on census maps as a 4WD trail or power line) running parallel to and north of Kings Highway
6. southeast on the power line for 9 miles to the King George County— Westmoreland County boundary (note four departures from the power line: south and east on Beverly Lane after the intersection with Ridge Road (State Route 205) and back to the power line; north on Quail Lane .015 miles and then south .05 miles on an unnamed road to the power line; south on Kent Road and east on Canterbury Court to the power line; and south on Mattox Drive and east on Big Timber Road to the power line)
7. south on the King George County—Westmoreland County boundary to the King George County—Caroline County boundary
8. west on the King George County—Caroline County boundary to its intersection with the extension of an unnamed road that runs southeast from the end of Lagrange Lane, the beginning point.

1. Beginning at the intersection of the Spotsylvania County—Stafford County—City of Fredericksburg boundaries:
2. clockwise southeast on the Spotsylvania County—Stafford County boundary to the Spotsylvania County—Caroline County boundary
3. southwest on the Spotsylvania County—Caroline County boundary to the Spotsylvania County—Hanover County boundary
4. west on the Spotsylvania County—Hanover County boundary to the Spotsylvania County—Louisa County boundary
5. northwest on the Spotsylvania County—Louisa County boundary to an unnamed legal boundary that lies east of Stage Coach Road and Boggs Drive
6. northeast 11.2 miles on the unnamed legal boundary (eastern boundary of Brokenburg (502) Precinct and western boundaries of a series of census blocks beginning with 511770204043047 and continuing through 511770204063015), crossing Courthouse Road (State Route 208) to Block House Road (State Route 648)
7. north on Block House Road and its continuation as Lake Anna Parkway (State Route 648 continued) to Old Block House Lane (State Route 648)
8. north on Old Block House Lane to Robert E Lee Drive (State Route 608)
9. east on Robert E. Lee Drive to East Robert E Lee Court
10. northeast on East Robert E Lee Court and its extension across Lake Anna Parkway to Old Robert E Lee Drive (northern boundary of census blocks 511770203101053 and 511770203115001)
11. east .17 miles on Old Robert E Lee Drive to an unnamed legal boundary that lies west and south of a subdivision containing General Drive and Spotslee Drive
12. south and then east 1.2 miles on the unnamed legal boundary (western and southern boundary of census block 511770203115008) to an unnamed road
13. east .11 miles on the unnamed road to an unnamed political boundary (continuing east on the boundary of census block 511770203115008)
14. north .11 miles on the unnamed political boundary to an unnamed road

19. north .1 miles on Meadowlark Lane to an unnamed legal boundary
20. east .034 miles on the unnamed legal boundary (southern boundary of census block 511770203102018) to the Dominion Virginia Power line
21. south on the Power line to Massaponax Church Road (State Route 608)
22. southeast and then northeast on Massaponax Church Road to Jefferson Davis Highway (U.S. Highway 1)
23. north on Jefferson Davis Highway to Mine Road (State Route 636)
24. east on Mine Road to Lansdowne Road (State Route 638)
25. north on Lansdowne Road to Lee Drive
26. northwest on Lee Drive to Deep Run
27. west .15 miles on Deep Run to a property line lying .15 miles west of and parallel to Lee Drive
28. north .28 miles on the property line (western boundary of census block 511770202023008) to the Spotsylvania County—City of Fredericksburg boundary
29. northeast on the Spotsylvania County—City of Fredericksburg boundary to the intersection of the Spotsylvania County—Stafford County—City of Fredericksburg boundaries, the beginning point.
D. Part of Westmoreland County lying east of the line described as follows:
1. Beginning at a point on the Westmoreland County—Maryland boundary where Currioman Bay meets the Potomac River and boundary:
2. south on Currioman Bay to a point between Currioman Creek and Poor Jack Creek at an extension of Chatham Lane (State Route 672) to the Bay (eastern boundary of census block 511930102003020)
