POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Manages all major fundraising efforts of CISE including the annual CISE Campaign, Friends of CISE Raffle, CISE Parish Appeal and associated special events. With the CISE Associate Director, manages the fundraising efforts of the CISE Foundation.  Cultivates and builds relationships with broad-based community, individuals, corporate executives and foundation officers to expand CISE funding and to retain existing support.  Works with the CISE Finance Committee to create an annual budget for CISE to be approved by the Executive Committee.  Functions as the primary staff liaison to the CISE Executive Committee and Advisory Board. Facilitates Board initiatives.  Coordinates the activities and meetings of the CISE Executive Committee, the Advisory Board and its committees. Plans meetings and creates agendas.  Hires and supervises CISE office staff members. Ensures the efficiency of CISE office operations and the consistency of support for CISE fundraising efforts.  Provides direction and oversight for the CISE donor database.  Maintains knowledge of CISE school communities.  Works with the CISE Associate Director of High School Programs to ensure maintain and refine that program. Assists with communication to the High School donors.  May be assigned other duties directly related to the functions of CISE.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 Should possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field and five or more years’ experience in development, grant writing and major gifts;  Familiarity with Catholic schools;  Good business and organizational skills;  Previous supervisory and fiscal responsibility;  Ability to work with a variety of constituencies, including an influential and energetic board, the business community, donors, school communities, volunteers and parents;  Excellent communication skills, both oral and written;  Requires working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge or other fundraising databases, Word, Excel and Access, also experience with PowerPoint and Publisher desirable.

THIS POSITION IS: Full time – 35 hours per week
