NASSAU CLEAN-UP DAY Saturday, October 17th 9:00 am – Noon Nassau Village Hall 40 Malden Street Clean Up Days are designed to manage bulky discards that aren’t collected curbside. ERCSWMA arranges for transportation, marketing and disposal of the materials brought in to the Clean Up. A nominal fee (depending on the item being disposed) will be charged to cover the associated costs. These “user fees” (so named because those using the service pay for it) are summarized below.

Miscellaneous: Plastics...... $3.00/item Large toys, pools / liners, tarps, sports equip. 20 gal Propane tanks …. $ 3.00 Light bulbs can be dropped off or taken to hazardous collection days by appointment Household batteries can be dropped off at Village hall anytime
Electronic Recycling- Electronics can be brought for recycling free. There is no longer a charge for TV’s and monitors, printers.
REUSABLE ITEMS, can be taken to the ERC Community Warehouse at 19 Church Street, Melrose, NY 12121. 687-1018
NOTE: Clean Up Days are NOT for household hazardous wastes. If you uncover hazardous materials (paints, pool chemicals, insecticides, etc.) around your home, please bring those to one of our FREE Household Hazardous Waste Collections Days. See details in your ERCSMWA Calendar
