Area meeting for Spring 2016---Friday, April 1, 2016---Butte College
Fall 2016---Folsom Lake Resolutions
A. Resolutions process overview (Aschenbach, ASCCC Resolutions Committee)
B. Review and discussion of pre-session resolutions
9.02---concern that it appears to go beyond pilot phase. Suggestion for amendment.
9.06---intentionally vague---should be local decision. Suggestion for amendment “without negative impact on existing programs.”
9.07---Cerro Coso have developed REC that have been adopted by the entire district.
9.08—“and academic rigor”
9.10---provide guidance instead of specifying paper

Accreditation TF---200+ pages---comments---recommendation for changing accreditor will take some time (10 years?); Cerro Coso---concern about process (wasn’t vetted locally)
