 TJMS is not a TAG center. Eligible students will be placed in appropriate honor classes.

 Honors classes may be based on students’ test scores and/or other PGCPS requirements, and/or teacher recommendations.

 Students are NOT guaranteed desired elective courses. All elective courses are subject to specified criteria for TJMS and/or PGCPS.

 Once electives have been chosen, students may not be able to make changes.

 It is not possible for a student to take two (2) yearlong [YL] electives.

 P.E. and Health are required elective classes. For P.E. classes, there is a uniform (see enclosure).

 Depending on test scores, some students may be required to take academic electives in lieu of other electives (MSA Prep Classes).
