Benedictine University Department of Nursing and Health RN to BSN Completion Program Application Checklist
Cohort locations and start times:
Benedictine University in Lisle – June start College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn – January and August start Morton College in Cicero – June start Triton College in River Grove – January and August start
Space is limited. Applicants are encouraged to apply 6-12 months in advance of desired term of entry in order to secure a spot. Admission is on a first come first served basis. Applications will be accepted until class is filled. For information on space availability call Office of Admissions at 630-829-6300.
Benedictine has 3+1 BSN partnerships with COD, Harper, Morton and Triton. Partner applicants may apply to any cohort location. However, graduates from partner schools applying under the 3+1 BSN partnership agreement will be given priority for admission.
Tuition: 2014-2015 tuition is $305 per semester credit hour. Total of 37 semester credit hours will be completed in the nursing cohort curriculum.
Length of Program: 12 months.
Application Checklist:
______Submit a completed adult undergraduate admissions application
______Submit official transcripts from ALL colleges and universities attended. Foreign credit must be evaluated by Educational Perspectives at www.edperspective.org/benedictine or Education Credential Evaluators (ECE) course by course evaluation at www.ece.org. Note: failure to provide complete information on educational history will result in the delay or denial of application or of admission being revoked.
______2.5 minimum cumulative GPA from all transcripts submitted
______Minimum of 55 hours of transfer credits for non-partner applicants and 83 credits for 3+1 partner applicants.
______Letter of Recommendation from your employer or new grads can request from a Clinical instructor.
______Computer literacy – Questionnaire will be e-mailed to applicant by admissions counselor upon receipt of application.
______Copy of valid, unencumbered Illinois RN license
Please note: All admitted students will be required to successfully complete all required prerequisite courses prior to enrolling in Benedictine nursing cohort classes.
