2016-2017 CAMPBELLSPORT FFA OFFICER ELECTION APPLICATION

ELECTRONIC COPY CAN BE FOUND AT WWW.CSPORTFFA.THEAET.COM

The Campbellsport FFA Officer selection process has been put together to ensure that those FFA members who TRULY DESIRE to develop premier leadership, personal growth & career success through agricultural education & the FFA will represent our chapter.

The officer selection process will consist of 4 parts-nomination form, application form, interview, and member voting.

Application form- Officer expectations and commitments are clearly stated on the nomination form. By signing this form, you are telling the advisor & chapter that you will accept ALL of the responsibilities and duties of an FFA officer, and understand the consequences of not meeting them. This gives you a chance to express your backgrounds, experiences, ideas and goals for the upcoming year. Some of your interview questions will come from your application form.

Interview- Every officer will go through the interview process with a exiting senior FFA member, FFA Alumni member and advisor. (or any combination of 3 judges) If necessary, to determine team or president.

Member Voting- The FFA chapter will vote for the president & vice president. The members will also vote to approve the slate of officers for the additional 4 offices.

These scores are equally weighted. Each applicant will be ranked based on their interview, application form and the number of votes earned (sum of rank). The member who has the lowest score will have precedence over others.

Serving your chapter is not a position to take lightly. It requires commitment and enthusiasm. Please be prepared to give it 110%

Any questions? Please contact the FFA Advisor as soon as possible. Failure to complete all parts of the application process may result in not being elected to office.
