A male aged about 30 years, height 5’7”, whitish complexion, round face, medium built and wearing blue & white stripe shirt and gray colour pants found on 13.6.2013. 3. A female aged about 30-35 years, height 5’3”, whitish complexion, thin built, round face, and wearing printed suit found on 13.06.13. 4.  CRIMINAL WANTED IN MURDER AND ASSAULT ON YOUTHS ARRESTED  TIMELY ARREST HELPS IN RESTORING NORMALCY IN THE AREA

TEAM

A team of Crime Branch led by Insp. Sunil Kumar and consisting of SI Ravinder Teotia, HC Wasik Ahmed, Cts Mohit, Udai Ram and Manoj under the supervision of ACP Udaivir Singh Rathi and overall guidance of Addl DCP Bhisham Singh has arrested a criminal namely Jeet Singh @ Jeetu. He was wanted in a murder and attempt to murder case registered at PS Ambedkar Nagar, Delhi.

INCIDENT On 3.06.13, Subin and Shekhar had some quarrel with one Pramod r/o DDA Flats Madangir. Local residents resolved the issue between both the parties. On 16.06.13, at about 9 PM, Sanjay along with his nephews Shekhar and Subin was standing near a Dhabha in DDA Flats Madangir. In the meantime, Pramod along with his associates Sunil Raj, Anil Raj and Jeetu came there and at the instigation of Pramod, they all caught hold of Shekhar and Subin and stabbed them repeatedly. One Rajender, who was standing nearby, tried to save them, but he also stabbed by the assailants. After this brutal attack, all the assailants fled from the spot. A case FIR No. 259/13 dated 17.06.13 u/s 307/324/34 was registered at PS Ambedkar Nagar. After the death of injured Subin, Section 302 IPC was also added in the case. On 17.06.13, local police arrested Pramod but Jeet Singh @ Jeetu and other assailants were on the run. OPERATION Specific information was received in Special Unit that Jeet Singh @ Jeetu would come near Okhla Subzi Mandi Gate to meet his accomplice. A trap was laid and Jeet Singh @ Jeetu (age 35 years) s/o Swarn Singh r/o 26/813, DDA Flats, Madangir, Delhi was apprehended. He was subjected to intensive interrogation. It was revealed that on 3.06.13, accused Pramod had a quarrel with Subin and Shekhar. Local residents had settled the matter, but Pramod was not satisfied with the compromise and felt humiliated. He decided to take revenge. Pramod alongwith his friends Jeetu, Sunil and Anil, planned to settle scores with his rivals. On 16.06.13, Pramod got the opportunity when he saw Subin and Shekhar standing near DDA Flats Madangir. Accused Pramod along with Jeetu and other associates caught hold of Subin and Shekhar and stabbed them repeatedly. Further, to mislead the police, accused Pramod inflicted injuries on his person and got admitted in AIIMS, but by the time police reached the hospital, he fled away from there.

PROFILE

Accused Jeet Singh @ Jeetu has studied upto 10th class. Presently, he is running a Bakery shop in Dakshinpuri, Delhi. He is known to the accused Pramod since childhood. They both reside in the same locality. About 2-3 years back, he came in contact with Sunil Raj and Anil Raj, both real brothers.

NORMALCY RESTORED

This murder had become a sensational issue in the area. Residents had demanded immediate arrest of the accused. Blockade and dharna by agitationists had disturbed the law & order situation in the area. Timely arrest of the accused has helped in restoring normalcy in the area.

APPREHENDED AN MBA LADY WHO TRIED TO POSING AS MONA DIKSHIT DAUGHTER-IN-LAW OF DELHI C.M. SMT SHEILA DIKSHIT

The Lajpat Nagar Police have arrested a 33 year old women for attempting to cheat a diamond merchant of Lajpat Nagar by posing as the daughter in law of Delhi Chief Minister Shiela Dixit. Accused Shikha Bhatia posing as daughter in law of Smt. Shiela Dixit made a call to the office of Jindal Diamond Lajpat Nagar and asked them to deliver some bangles diamond at Khanpur Chowk as she was going to IGIA to catch flight.

ACCUSED PERSON:-

1. Shikha Bhatia W/o Sh. Onkhar Bhatia R/oF-5/230, 2nd floor, Sec-16 Rohini New Delhi.

INCIDENT:-

The owner of the showroom got some suspicion and made enquiries from the office of Mr Sandeep Dixit and found that no such call has been made by Ms Mona Dixit .The owner of Jindal Diamond Mr Siddhartath Jindal reported the matter in the PS Lajpat Nagar . Immediately a raiding team consisting of Insp A. K. Singh ATO, SI Rajveer Singh, SI Megha Ram, L/ct Sarla headed by Insp Ramesh Kumar, SHO Lajpat Nagar under the overall supervision of ACP Sh. Harcharan Verma . The complainant gave the mobile no. of SI Rajveer to the lady in the guise of his employee. SI Rajveer also took a packet containing artificial jewellery. The SI in the guise of employee of Jindal Diamond met the lady who accepted the parcel and handed over a cheque of an amount 3,89,000 bearing the signature of Mona Dixit. Immediately the women was taken in to custody and interrogated. A case FIR No.174/13, U/s 419/420/468/471/511 IPC was registered and accused Shikha Bhatia W/o Onkar Bhatia R/o Sec- 16, Rohini, Delhi was arrested.

Accused posing as daughter-in-law Delhi C.M. Smt Sheila Dikshit make a call to the office of Jindal Diamond Lajpat Nagar and ask them to deliver some diamond bangles at Khanpur Chowk as she is going to IGI Airport to catch a flight for Abroad.

ACCUSED SHIKHA SONI D/O JOGENDER PAL SONI R/O A 39 DUGGAL COLONY KHAN PUR DEVLI ROAD NEW DELHI WAS BORN 1981 AT ANDHRA PRADESH. SHE WAS STUDIED IN M.BA.

RECOVERY

1. One forged cheque of Rs 3,89,000/- with forged signature of Mona Dixit.

ONE NOTORIOUS LADY FRAUDSTER ARRESTED The police personnel of P.S. Tilak Nagar, West Distt. have done a good work by arresting one lady fraudster namely Madhu w/o Manjeet Singh r/o H.No S3/10, Old Mahavir Nagar in case FIR No. 319/13 U/S 420/506 IPC PS Tilak Nagar.

NAME AND PROFILE OF THE ACCUSED PERSON

Madhu w/o Manjeet Singh r/o H.No S3/10, Old Mahavir Nagar, age-32 years.

INFORMATION AND OPERATION

Shri Ashok Kumar s/o Govind Ram r/o 11/20-B, Tilak Nagar reported that he is running a jewelry shop in the name of Subham Jewellery in 'B' block Tilak Nagar and initially the accused lady came to his shop in the month of October on the pretext of buying some gold ornaments. She did not buy anything from his shop. On 09.03.13, she came again to his shop and bought gold ornaments worth Rs. 5,11,658/- on credit. Further on 25.03.13, she came again and bought gold ornaments worth Rs. 6,25,219/- and paid a cheque payable at SBI, Tilak Nagar amounting to Rs 11,36,877/- in lieu of the said purchases. On 19.04.13, she again came to his shop and purchased gold ornaments worth Rs 24,45,000/- and gave a cheque bearing to payment. Again on 25.04.13, she came to his shop and bought gold ornaments worth Rs. 4,28,301/- and gave a cheque amounting to Rs. 4,28,301/-. Thus, the accused lady had taken gold ornaments worth Rs. 40,10,178/- from the complainant and given three cheques payable at SBI, Tilak Nagar. The complainant deposited all the above three cheques in his account for clearance but the same was received back with noting of “Stop payment”. When the complainant approached the accused lady, she threatened him for dire consequences and to implicate him in false case. A case FIR No. 319/13 U/S 420/506 IPC dated 18.06.2013 was registered on the complaint of Complainant and further investigation were undertaken. Immediately a team consisting of ASI Satbir Singh, Ct. Anil Kumar and W/Ct. Reena under the supervision of Inspr. Kishore Kumar, SHO/Tilak Nagar was constituted. A raid was conducted and accused lady was arrested in this case.

INTERROGATION AND MODUS OPERANDI

Manjeet Singh, husband of accused Madhu is running up artificial jewellery shop in the Sunday Markets. Madhu, wearing the artificial jewellery, goes to the jewellery shops and acts as a prospective customer. Initially, she purchases some items from the shop and pays the bill amount immediately. Afterwards, she starts purchasing the gold items on credit and pledges the same with some finance companies and paid bill amount later on. Thus, she gains the confidence of the jewellery shop owner. Thus believing her credibility, the jewellery shop owner gave gold ornaments on credit and accepted the cheques. But later he came to know that he has been cheated. It also came to notice during the investigation that she cheated some other persons/shop owners also with the same modus operandi. Further investigation is being carried out to ascertain the exact amount involved.

The police personnel involved in good work are being rewarded suitably.
