 Budget

o Ken has prepared and will continue to work on 2018 budget

. October is PT Month

o What can we do to participate? Ideas for Day of Service?

o We have a Central District Facebook group (Central District NYPTA) . Dave can write a post in the beginning of October: “October is PT month, what is your group doing for the PT Day of Service?”, in order to get people excited about it

. New Central District members/Membership Liaison update

o Staci wants to know if new members are getting added to our e-mail blasts, as she has been keeping up with e-mailing new members as a membership liaison.

o Maureen will ask Kelly Garceau about how are we guaranteeing that new members are getting added to the list-serv

. Update: E-mail received from Kelly: “Updates are done on a monthly basis. If you hear from a member that is not receiving them, it may be that they have an out-of- state address on file with APTA (students). They will automatically be placed in a “No District” category and not receive district emails. If you hear from someone, please ask them to contact the Chapter office and we will check their contact information and correct it if necessary”

o We only have access to Central District members e-mails, but still have decent non-member attendance at most meetings

o E-mails are often sent out to all Upstate employees when we have meetings

o Need to continue to pass word along about meetings to continue to attract non-members Meeting adjourned at 8:15 pm.
