3 SUBMITTALS

3.A. Submit under provisions of Section 01 30 00 - Administrative Requirements.

3.B. Product Data: Manufacturer's data sheets on each product to be used, including: 3.B.1. Preparation instructions and recommendations. 3.B.2. Storage and handling requirements and recommendations. 3.B.3. Installation methods.

3.C. Shop Drawings: Elevations, sections and details indicating product by description and product item part number. Materials schedule for each location of installation.

3.D. Selection Samples: For each finish product specified, two complete sets of color chips representing manufacturer's full range of available colors and patterns.

3.E. Verification Samples: For each finish product specified, two samples, minimum size 6 inches (150 mm) square, representing actual product, color, and patterns.

4 QUALITY ASSURANCE

4.A. Manufacturer Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years documented experience fabricating similar products.

4.B. Installer Qualifications: Factory trained and product experienced.

4.C. Provide Computer Generated 3-Dimensional drawings for each design variation.

4.D. Mock-Up: Provide a mock-up for evaluation of surface preparation techniques and application 10 57 00-1 workmanship. 4.D.1. Finish areas designated by Architect. 4.D.2. Do not proceed with remaining work until workmanship, color, and product selection are approved by Architect. 4.D.3. Refinish mock-up area as required to produce acceptable work.

5 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING

5.A. Store products in manufacturer's unopened packaging until ready for installation.

6 PROJECT CONDITIONS

6.A. Maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, and ventilation) within limits recommended by manufacturer for optimum results. Do not install products under environmental conditions outside manufacturer's absolute limits.

7 WARRANTY

7.A. Manufacturer warrants for 10 years from date of purchase to the original purchaser against defects in material and workmanship that impair the utility of the product. This warranty applies under conditions of normal use as a storage organization system. This warranty excludes product damage due to improper installation or product abuse or misuse, whether inflicted by an installing contractor, service company or others. Non residential applications are limited to a two year warranty.

7.B. Manufacturer warrants for as long as the original purchaser owns the product against defects in material and workmanship that impair the utility of the product. 15 FABRICATION

15.A. Assemble drawer units and shelves in shop. Do not splice shelving units together unless required length is longer than available shelving lengths.

PART 3 EXECUTION

16 PREPARATION

16.A. Prepare surfaces using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions. If preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect in writing of deviations from manufacturer's recommended installation tolerances and conditions.

16.B. Do not proceed with installation until substrates have been properly prepared and deviations from manufacturer's recommended tolerances are corrected. Commencement of installation constitutes acceptance of conditions. 16.B.1. Prepared spaces are sized and located in accordance with shop drawings. 16.B.2. Framing, reinforcement and anchoring devices are correct type and are located in accordance with shop drawings. 16.B.3. Layout scheduled components prior to installation to verify wall to wall and floor to ceiling heights, widths, plumb and flatness of surfaces. 16.B.4. Prepare anchor locations and select anchor types using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions.

17 INSTALLATION

17.A. Can be installed in any substrate in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.

17.B. Install components true to line, square with adjacent components with drawer glides and working hardware operating smoothly without binding, or gaps when closed.

18 PROTECTION

18.A. Protect installed products until completion of project.

18.B. Touch-up, repair or replace damaged products before Substantial Completion.
