VARGUS LTD. LAUNCHES VARGUS GEN ONLINE AT EMO HANNOVER 2013 Industry leading TT & TM Gen software now available in online and desktop versions

September 16, 2013 – VARGUS Ltd., a world-leading manufacturer of high-quality thread cutting, grooving and deburring tools for the metals and plastics industries, is proud to present VARGUS GEN at EMO Hannover 2013. VARDEX’s industry leading TT and TM GEN software programs will now provide its advanced thread turning and thread milling tool selection and CNC program generation capabilities in both online and desktop versions at www.vargus.com.

VARGUS GEN Online is a new interactive software program suitable for the most popular web browsing environments. This version ensures that the most updated TT and TM Gen programs are always available online.

VARGUS GEN Desktop is a standalone software application for MS-Windows based operating systems that can be downloaded to customer computers. Automatic updates are available for this version whenever the user is online.

VARGUS GEN reflects Vargus Ltd’s ongoing commitment to innovation through the development of new technologies to help its customers select the right tooling solution for the right job.

In addition to now being made available in online and desktop versions, both TT and TM Gen software programs were upgraded with a new graphic user interface and improved functionality to enhance program usability. Upgraded features and functionality include:

 Aesthetic Graphic User Interface (GUI): New clean GUI design for easier navigation and data entry

 Improved Tab Navigation: Users can easily navigate between tabs to check previously defined data, whereby the active tab displays the current stage in the process

 Faster Data Inputting: Users can make changes without having to re-enter data that was not changed in previous steps

 New TM GEN Summary Tab: Displays program data in a clear graphical format with pictures illustrating the definition of each parameter
