Accomplishments Demonstrated leadership during implementation of UNM-Taos Veterans Upward Bound Grant which assists Veterans in academic endeavors across our state of New Mexico Developed partnerships with over 20 institutions of higher learning in NM, signing nearly ten MOUs or MOAs. Served 16 years with the United States Army Reserve to include such accomplishes as but not limited to; 2 deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and reaching the distinguished position of First Sergeant.

Professional Experience Senior Program Advisor – University of New Mexico, Taos, NM April, 2013– Present Developed different incentives and operating procedures of the Veterans Upward Bound Grant which opened doors in January. The program granted by the Department of Education operates as a TRiO program. Managed a staff of over 10 staff members Statewide and key areas such as Clovis, Roswell, Las Cruces, Albuquerque, Alamogordo, Santa Fe, Las Vegas, Farmington, and Taos.
