HOUSE ASSEMBLIES - Registration this week Thursday 29 – S4 Friday 30 – S5 Monday 2 November – S6

Zumba Charity Event Monday 9 th of November 6.30-7.30pm Elgin Academy Assembly Hall Come and participate in the Zumba charity event on Monday the 9th of November 6.30-7.30pm. It promises to be amazing fun with instruction from Laura Stewart, Y Dancers, and sensational Staff!! All money raised will be donated to the Archie Foundation and CliC Sargent. This promises to be a fantastic, entertaining evening while raising money for two very worthy causes. All you need is comfortable workout clothes, water and energy to dance for an hour! Entry costs £4 Adult, £3 Students, with family group concessions. We hope to see you there! Moray Art Schools Exhibition: Congratulations to the following pupils who have had work selected for the forthcoming Art exhibition at Moray College (Art building). This exhibition show cases the work from a number of Moray schools and includes work from Nursery pupils all the way through to S6 in Secondary. The exhibition runs from Monday 2nd November – Friday 20th November and can be accessed on week days from 9am – 9pm. It really is worth a visit to see the vast array of talent we have across Moray. Fiona McCafferty, Cameron Morrison-Smith, Esme Hoskins, Charlotte Bell, Alex Miller, Zoe Mainus, Chase Nelson, Callum Nairn, Rhiann Tointon and India Arbuthnott. Well done to all. The Art department.

Library Today and Tomorrow Lunchtime The library will be closed all day today. It will also be closed during tomorrow at lunchtime . Sorry! Speakers' Corner is not running . It will be on as usual next Friday, when Carrie MacVicar will tell us 'Her Places To See Before You Die'

Moray Secondary Schools’ Cross Country Competition 2015 This will take place at Lossiemouth High School on Monday November 2nd. All pupils S1-6 are eligible and there is still time to be part of this event. If you are interested please give your name to Mr Davis in the PE department before the end of school TODAY.

Hockey Club: Hockey Club is NOT on this week. It will resume as normal next Thursday 3.40pm-4.40pm on the astro. Thanks (SS)

SHANARRI Game Competition A reminder that you can go to room B38 today at 1.05pm and use the computers to create your wellbeing game. The winning prize is £100.

School Football: Elgin Academy Seniors and Under 15's both away to Speyside High school on Saturday 31st October (Halloween). Kick off likely to be 9.30am. Please notify Mr Baker (Senior squad) and Mr Roberston (Under 15's) of your availability for Saturday. Update to follow regarding bus times etc but cost will be £3 per player. Any problems or question please see Mr Baker in G23. Thanks (MB).
