Requirement for suppliers to Bosch Automotive Service Solutions LLC to comply with REACH obligations

Dear Potential Supplier:

Failure to comply with the European Union’s new Registration, Evaluation, Authorization of Chemicals, more commonly known as REACH can put your products and profits at risk, in addition to Bosch Automotive Service Solutions LLC. REACH is intended to ensure that all chemicals are tested and used in a safe manner. Although REACH certainly affects chemical manufacturers, it also has a profound impact on the makers of all products. Products potentially purchased from your company are either sold as finished goods or used in the manufacture of Bosch Automotive Service Solutions LLC products can ultimately be sold to customers in Europe.

From October 2008, Article 33 (1) of the REACH Regulation places a legal obligation on all EU suppliers to inform Bosch Automotive Service Solutions LLC whether the components or assemblies supplied to us contain any of the REACH Candidate List substances in concentrations >0.1% w/w.
