17/71 Planning Applications:

171306 - Nunwell House, 6 Pump Street, Bromyard, Herefordshire, HR7 4BY Replace current glazed roof with a new glazed roof. Full Householder.

171307 - Nunwell House, 6 Pump Street, Bromyard, Herefordshire, HR7 4BY Replace current glazed roof with a new glazed roof. Listed Building consent.

Members are invited to make representation to Herefordshire Council’s Planning Department on the above detailed Planning Applications and are asked to consider if they wish a Ward Councillor to bring any of these applications to a meeting of the Herefordshire County Planning Committee. If so members are asked to confirm that they wish the Chairman of the Planning Committee to represent the Town Council at such a meeting.

17/72 State of the Old Magistrates Court/Old Library: Cllr Shaw informs the committee this building was visited by planning enforcement less than six months ago. Photographs were taken and the matter discussed with a senior planning officer. The conclusion reached was that the (non-listed) building did not appear to be in a dangerous condition and that its condition did not warrant a s215 notice. A decision was taken at that time to take no further action.

Cllr Shaw is prepared to raise the matter with the senior planning officer again though he asks that members are specific in the nature of the works that they wish to see done e.g. re- painting?

He is not aware of any recent deterioration which would warrant planning enforcement re- visiting the site so soon.

17/73 Pavement paraphernalia causing difficulties: Concern has been expressed by Members about items, particularly advertising boards, obstructing the pavement in High Street/Broad Street. Members are asked what action they wish the Council to take.

of 3 17/74 Civic Pride Award. Members are asked if they wish the Council to re-instigate the Civic Pride Award which makes an award to the trader which the Council considers has taken most pride in keeping its premises and immediate environment in excellent condition.

17/75 Planning Decisions:

29 Old Road Bromyard Herefordshire HR7 4BQ, Proposed works to 1 x Pine, 2 x Broad Leaf - remove tops. 1 x Fir - fell excessive shading. Allowed. TC Supported.

19 Tower Hill Bromyard Herefordshire HR7 4DF, Propose to fell tree - it is causing damage to the garage and the garden perimeter wall. The wall is protected due to it being in a conservation area. If there is any more damage to the wall it could collapse onto the public highway therefore putting the public at risk. Approved. TC Supported

39 West Hill Bromyard Herefordshire HR7 4EU, Replacement and upgrading of garage and single storey rear extensions to provide a larger family kitchen, utility and shower room. Approved with conditions. TC Supported.

Land at 52 New Road Bromyard. Provision of additional hard standing within the curtilage.Certificate of Lawfulness issued. TC Supported.

17/76 Notification of application for grant of premises licence.

The Licensing Section of Herefordshire Council have informed the council of an application for the granting of a premises licence by Sklep Kinia at 20 Broad Street, Bromyard HR7 4BT. Sale/supply of alcohol (consumption off premises) Mon - Tues 10.00 – 18.00, Wed - Sat 10.00 – 20.00, Sun 10.00 – 16.00. Members are asked if they wish to make representations.
