This is a presentation for the whole dental team. As the provision of dental implants becomes more common and an easily accessed solution for lost teeth, the dental team requires the knowledge to aid their patients in maintenance for the long term success of their implants.

Aims - To refresh knowledge of peri-implant diseases. - To explore actual case studies and treatment protocols for peri-implant diseases. - To examine the current guidance on prevention and treatment of peri-implant diseases.

Objectives - A refreshed,updated knowledge of peri-implant diseases. - To be able to formulate and instigate good robust protocols in practice for the ongoing maintenance of implant patients. To be able to source and stay up to date with current and latest guidelines on prevention and maintenance of peri-implant diseases.
