Your itinerary:

Tuesday, Sept. 20 Depart from New London and Old Saybrook by motorcoach for the airport to board our overnight flight to Luxembourg.

Wednesday, Sept. 21 We arrive in Luxembourg and are transferred to our 5-star hotel.

Thursday, Sept.22 After our included breakfast we have a tour of Luxembourg to see the sights that have made this city so famous.

Friday, Sept. 23 After our breakfast we will be transferred to Remish to board our custom-built luxury river ship, the MS Amalegro.

Saturday, Sept. 24 Our first stop is Bernkastel, where we will take a walking tour or have the use of one of the bicycles for you to explore on your own at each port.

Sunday, Sept. 25 At Cochem today our tour includes a guided visit of the Reichsburg Castle, situated above Cochem with spectacular views of the River Mosel. This afternoon we cruise to Koblenz, where the evening is free for you to explore. The ship moors overnight.

Monday, Sept. 26 At Koblenz today you’ll visit the Rhineland- Palatinate National Garden Show. Visit the re-designed flower gardens of the “palace” and the castle. This afternoon continue cruising by several castles and the infamous Lorelei Rock as we sail through the Rhine Gorge. The ship overnights in Mainz.

Tuesday, Sept. 27 Today, two excursions to pick from; a guided walking tour of Mainz and see the Gutenberg Museum. Or, travel by motorcoach to Heidelberg, Germany’s oldest university town. This afternoon, cruise to the wine village of Rudesheim for an afternoon wine tasting with a local vintner. The ship overnights here.

Wednesday, Sept. 28 After lunch, you’ll cruise on to Cologne for a guided walking tour through the old part of the city and visit the fabled 13th century Gothic cathedral. The afternoon is free to explore the city, later this afternoon the ship sails for Amsterdam.

Thursday, Sept. 29 This morning, enjoy a guided cruise through the city’s historic canals. The afternoon is free to explore the 700 year old capital with its elegant architecture, cafés, lively marketplace and exciting nightlife. Visit the Van Gogh Museum or the Anne Frank House.

Friday, Sept. 30 Your magical vacation ends today as you transfer to the airport for your flight back home where our motorcoach awaits to return us to Connecticut. What’s it cost?
