SCMC General Meeting March 28, 2012 The meeting was called to order at 7:02 p.m.by President Jason Ratliff. Don and Pat Champoux were our guests and they own a 1965 Coupe. Treasurer’s Report: $(censored) checking (not counting the dues and sponsorships received tonight) and $ (censored) in Savings. The Board did not meet this month, but a show committee meeting was held March 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Club house. Classes were reviewed with some changes. The club is inviting the fire departments and will add a class for them. The Washington State Fruit Commission will allow the club to use their parking lot north of the park. Mark has printed the registration forms and show flyers. Lance stated O’Riley Auto parts has offered to sponsor 10 classes and would like to have sponsored the whole show. They provided hats for Lance to handout to those members attending the meeting. Heinz and Doris had new antenna flags made. The antenna flags sell for $7.00. Richard Rettig received 2nd place at the convention center car show. The following is a list of upcoming shows and events that were discussed during our meeting. Upper Valley Rally, Naches, July 21. Renegade raceway would like to have a car show on a Friday night. Cars can also run down the strip. We just need to get the contact info and pick a date. PNWMC Memorial Day Weekend, Tri-Cities, May 26 and 27. Zillah Spring Fling. April 28. Selah Community Days (Parade), May 19. American Reflection Show, Moxee, May 20.
Page 2 of 5 Dave Hawkins stated he likes the Royal Purple Synthetic Oil which is available at Bi-Mart. It helps reduce engine friction. Bill Hinmann won the 50/50 Raffle and Richard Gamache the door prize. Velda stated there are still openings on her sign-up sheet for the Coffee Stop. Items needed are: coffee, lemonade, coffee creamer, sugar and bottled water. Meeting adjourned at 8:08 p.m

Volunteers are needed to help out with our coffee stop this summer. If you would be interested in any of the available dates and times please contact Velda so she can sign you up. This has continually been a very good fundraiser for our club.

Coffee Stop: The sign up list will be passed around and each of you will be able to make yourselves available for a shift at the coffee stop. SUPPLIES STILL NEEDED; COFFEE ,COCOA, LEMONADE, WATER, 1 CAN DECAF COFFEE The coffee stop date is Tuesday, May 29th, set up and ready to go by 9:00 A.M., thru Friday morning the 1st. The Early Ford V-8 Club in Seattle, Puget Sound Regional Group #18, is hosting its 40th Annual Early Ford V-8 & All-Makes Car Show/Picnic on Sunday, June 3, in Bellevue, WA and would like to invite you and your members to participate if at all possible.
