He displays the Cardinal Code in many ways each day but I think the most impressive is his ability to be kind and patient with EVERYONE! Addy-4S

Smart and sweet, She is such a treat. Kind and thoughtful all day long, She can even sing a song. Always has her work all done, She is able to have fun. Respectful to others throughout the day, She always has kind things to say. She is a great addition to our class, But onto fifth grade she must pass. We will be sorry to see her go, But we know that she will shine and grow. Jocelyn-4T A quote by Helen Keller states, “We can do anything we want as long as we stick to it long enough.” Jocelyn sticks with a concept until she gets it. She asks great questions until what she is learning makes sense to her. I have enjoyed watching her grow into a great learner this year! In addition to this great attitude, she is one of the kindest people I know. She arrives at school every day with a smile and a great attitude. We could all learn from her. I am glad she is in this class!

Whenever I have a question about the computer, he can give me an answer. Attentive - To not only the lesson being taught, but also to the details he puts into his homework. Yes, he is all that and so much more, which is why he is this month’s KOC from 4V!

Stephen starts every morning with a friendly hug or wave. His cheerful greetings and farewells make every day in our class that much brighter. Stephen is respectful of all adults and works hard to do his best on all things. He is thoughtful in using his manners and is honest even when he makes a mistake. Stephen’s positive attitude and integrity make him a Kid of Character that truly shines.

Aurora-5F Aesop is quoted as saying, “The level of our success is limited only by our imagination and no act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted.” This quote brings one 5F student to mind on a daily basis! She works diligently to learn and has great study habits. She willingly shares knowledge with others, respectful of their individual needs. She is the picture of quiet, steady determination and is efficient and organized in all that she does. She does not seek applause or attention, but quietly goes about making our classroom, our school, and our world a better place with encouragement and small, simple acts of kindness. She not only imagines a better world, but makes it happen! Thanks, Aurora for making our world brighter!

Brady-5J

Tough, athletic, fun, hard working, and quite a story-teller would be a few words to describe this month’s Kid of Character. This student has been working very hard on improving himself academically. I see him sitting away from friends more often, so he can focus on tasks that are important in that moment. I notice this student is kind and friendly to his peers. It is apparent that he sensitive too, because he isn’t afraid to let me know when something is bothering him. This student is so fun to be around; you can see it in the way he talks, works, smiles and of course, his stories. I am excited to see further improvement from this student and am so glad he is a part of 5J! Way to go Brady!

Briahna-5K

This month’s Kid of Character is a wonderful asset to our class. Briahna is a genuine gem! While she consistently exhibits each pillar of character, there are a few qualities that stand out. I am very impressed by her sense of responsibility. She understands the value of hard work and I can trust that she is trying to do her very best all the time. Some of Briahna’s other outstanding qualities are that she is exceptionally kind and considerate. She quietly helps others and expects nothing in return! That’s a quality that is certainly admirable. We are so very fortunate to have Briahna in our class! Congratulations, Briahna! Jimmy-5L Jovial—has a smile on his face and likes teasing banter. Inspired—is inspired to do his best work at school. Motivated—always working harder. Marvelous—shows the “Cardinal Code” everyday. Yeah—has a “yeah I can do it” attitude.
