World History Syllabus Mr. Knox Homework and projects: There are a few projects throughout the year but in general homework is to study for the exams.
Exams and quizzes. A test will be given at the conclusion of each chapter. The exams are from notes taken in class and from study guides provided.
There will be 5 point daily quizzes. Only the first ten minutes of class will be used for the quizzes. If absent for any reason make up quizzes will be done orally during the next quiz. Typically Iraq, Afghanistan, or Poland will need to be located on a blank map for all or none of the points.
There will also be an essay with some of the chapters.
Participation: Students will be given 100 points every semester. Ten points will be taken away for sleeping, not participating in class activities, using their phone, or saying inappropriate things.
