Holiday Inn Chicago North Shore in Skokie, IL 5300 W. Touhy Ave. Skokie, IL Tel.: 1 847 679 8900 $95 / night. The hotel is located away from the airport, but close to the university. Take a taxi. □ International Insurance – you will not be covered until classes begin. Please, purchase international travel insurance for the period of time until you begin classes □ Housing arrangements – please, inform us if you have made housing arrangements. If you have NOT made arrangements, we will provide a list of possibilities and/or photos of the place when you DO NOT have arrangements. We will only help you find one location. □ Airport pick-up time – upon request BY GROUP TRAVELERS (minimum 5), there will be a clearly marked bus waiting at the airport. The bus will take you only to Northeastern Illinois University. We will have the bus on Monday, August 18, 2014 at Terminal 5 O’Hare International Airport. Please, inform the Office of International Programs about your arrival time and flight number at least two weeks before Monday, August 18, 2014. If we do not have this information the bus service will not be contracted. If you land on a different day, you will be responsible for your own transportation

□ Mandatory Orientation Session – if you cannot participate in it, please, talk to your University administration and consider changing your arrival semester. We will terminate your visa if you are not there. The Orientation Session will take place on August 19, 2014 from 10:00am to 2:00pm for the Fall 2014 semester, and on Friday, January 02, 2015 from 10:00am until 2:00pm for Spring 2015. Please, bring proof of insurance or money to buy NEIU health insurance and a copy of your passport, visa AND I-94. □ Taxi cash – in case your plane lands late or there is a problem when you already land, please make sure you have some US cash – not all taxis take credit cards.
