FAQ Film: The Princess Bride at Maryhill Burgh Halls Afternoon Screening (14:00) Saturday 25 February 2017

What time will the doors open? The doors will open at 14:00.

What time will the film actually start? The Princess Bride will begin at 15:30. Audience should take their seats by 15:00.

What will be happening at the event in addition to the film screening? As audiences arrive, there will be drinks to purchase from the café bar. Upon arrival, ticketholders can join a Treasure Hunt. The very latest time to join the Treasure Hunt is 14:45. From 14:55 everyone will be invited to take their seats in the Main Hall. A Fencing demonstration will start at 15:05, followed by the film screening.

When will the film end? The Princess Bride is 1 hour and 38 minutes long and will finish at approx. 17:10.

When will I be required to vacate the venue? The audience will be asked to leave at 17:20.

Where can I collect my tickets from? Tickets will be available to collect or buy from the Glasgow Film Festival Box Office at Glasgow Film Theatre: http://www.glasgowfilm.org/theatre/information/gft_information. All information on films and how to book tickets can be found at: http://www.glasgowfilm.org/festival/whats_on Ticket sales at the GFT Box Office end at 12:00 on the day of the event. Ticket collection will be available at Maryhill Burgh Halls from 14:00 onwards.

Will you be selling tickets at the door? If our event does not sell out, then tickets will be available to buy on the door. However, we have held similar events to this one before and they have nearly all sold out. We advise you to book your tickets as soon as possible. Ticket sales at the GFT Box Office end at 12:00 on the day of the event. Ticket collection will be available at Maryhill Burgh Halls from 14:00 onwards.

Where is the event taking place? The event will be taking place at the Maryhill Burgh Halls. Where can I find information about access to the venue? Will there be food at the event? There will be a limited amount of snack food available for purchase at the event.

Will there be alcohol for sale at the event? There will be no alcohol available for the afternoon screening.

Are there any age restrictions for this event? The Princess Bride is a certificate PG. PG stands for Parental Guidance. This means a film is suitable for general viewing, but some scenes may be unsuitable for young children. A PG film should not unsettle a child aged around eight or older. Parents should consider whether the content may upset younger, or more sensitive, children.

Can I reserve a seat? All seats are unreserved, unless otherwise stated.

Are latecomers admitted? Late entry to the event is at the discretion of the Event Coordinator. The Event Coordinator reserves the right of admission and their decision is final.

What is your refund policy? Refunds will only be made in the case of cancellation of the event.
