The Meherrin River Regional Jail Authority Is Accepting Proposals from Interested Firms

The Meherrin River Regional Jail Authority is accepting proposals from interested firms or teams pursuant to the Public-Private Educational Infrastructures Act of 2002 for the design and construction of an 80 rated bed regional jail facility in Mecklenburg County, which will be an adjunct facility for the main regional jail under construction in Brunswick County. Proposals are due no later than 2:00 p.m. on May 27, 2011 in the office of Charlette T. Woolridge, County Administrator, Brunswick County, 102 Tobacco Street, P.O. Box 399, Lawrenceville, Virginia, 23868. Copies of the Request for Proposals and other information, including the Planning Study approved by the Virginia Board of Corrections, may be obtained from William H.
