Position: President

Major Work Relationships: SGA Executive Directors

SGA Senators

University Administration and Staff

Position Requires: 2.00 minimum GPA, Enrolled in at least 6 credits or 3 graduate credits at UWSP

Major Responsibilities:*

 Serve a term for an entire year, from May 2015-May 2016 including summer and winter breaks

 Supervise all Executive Staff

 Reports to Student Body

 Proactively address student concerns and issues

 Communicate SGA issues to students, Senators, Faculty, and Administration

 Attend Senate meetings and chair all executive board meetings

 Serve as a student body representative at University Committees and events

 Provide administration direction and guidance for SGA executive branch

 Present a State of the University address in the fall semester

 Welcome and familiarize the public gallery with SGA

 Authenticate by signature all actions of Senate

 Nominate and appoint Justices to open seats of the Judicial Branch

Major Responsibilities:*

 Serve as internal Representative for SGA

 Assign Representatives to University Committees

 Chair all Senate meetings and attend all Executive Board Meetings

 Serve as a delegate leader and Voting member at UW-Student Representative meetings

 Fulfill the duties of the President if necessary

 Maintain correspondence with UW System institutions

of 18  Organize and update materials from State and National Student Associations

 Issue a weekly report to Senate
