Barrel program 25% New Oak, predominantly French with a small percentage of Hungarian oak to complement the pie spice notes.

Vineyard strategy Wills Hills is a young dry farmed vineyard (non-irrigated), yields were kept at 1.2 tons/acre. Melange du Rhone is located in Linne Calodo soils. Clusters were winged and tipped. Yields were kept to 2.35 ton/acre.

Winery Protcol Fruit was de-stemed and fermented whole berry for 15 days and then pressed off at 7 Brix directly to barrel where it remained unracked until bottling.
