Presents the SALT ROCK MIGRATORY FISH CHALLENGE 2004

When: Saturday 3rd July - from sunrise to 17h00

Where: open from Port Edward to Kosi Bay (both shore and boat diving in one category)

Weigh-in: Umhlali Ski Boat Club at 15h00 - 17h00 - followed by prize giving and a meal (families are warmly welcomed)

Entry fee: R150 per diver - This includes a good grub, and one serious T-shirt - entries before Friday 25th June qualify for R2500 dive watch lucky draw

This unique competition is specifically aimed at migratory fish that follow the annual sardine run. The competition is limited to the following seven fish species: CUTA SNOEK KINGFISH GARRICK DAGA BRUSHER GRUNTER +CRAYFISH

Prizes: Prizes will be awarded for the 3 biggest individuals in each species and NOT on bag sizes. Prizes include guns, a camo wetsuit, masks, bags, fins, buoys, ropes ECT and lots more………… Rules:  Divers must have a valid spearfishing licence  All fish weighed in must conform to Natal Parks Board size and bag limits  Fish must be weighed with guts and gills and must be at the weigh-in by 17h00 latest!  One prize per fish and prizes are allocated by the committee at their discretion  Registration forms to be submitted prior to Friday 25th June 2004  No crayfish from vessels  Crayfish prize is based on the largest individual
