Father Nick opened the meeting with a prayer.

Meeting called to order at 4:15 PM.

September 2014 meeting minutes were reviewed and accepted.

The financial statements were reviewed. The financials were approved by consensus.  Parish Hall rent was discussed. The council recommends parish life review their schedule for the church hall rent to ensure consistency. This will be brought up at the next parish life meeting and Terra will contact Linda regarding rental income.

 If the church needs tuck pointing to help correct water problems, the St. Luke Building Fund would be used first, and possibly the Rosary Society funds would be used as well.

Old Business:  Eric is getting someone to look at the ceiling to see if that is where the basement moisture is coming from. Wilma will scrape the wall and watch to see if it stays dry.

 The west side entry way of the church’s flat roof is rotten and will need to be looked at next spring.

 The Clement Blong Estate gift was received and deposited into the Catholic Foundation Fund. New Business  Another successful Fall Dinner was held with 606 served. The Council and pastor express appreciation to the Parish Life leaders for their work. They look forward to working together on future dinners.

 The heating units near the altar are still noisy. Wilma will contact Kevin to look into this issue.

 The annual insurance inspection went well. The only issue was an open junction box in the restroom that was covered up.

The next council meeting is March 5, 2014.
