Role Description
Responsible to: Manchester MIND Cafe Manager
General
To develop supportive and relationships with clients who are undertaking placements within Manchester MIND Cafe and Good Mood Food in order for them to develop identified skills and knowledge in the preparation and service of food within the Cafe.
Specific duties:
To develop supportive relationships with people undertaking placements in Cafe
To provide support on planning, preparation and serving of meals within Cafe on a sessional basis
To meet with volunteer and Cafe Staff on a regular basis in order to set goals and check that identified skills are being developed
To take part in training to develop skills and role
To take part in supervision with Manchester MIND member of staff in order to discuss achievements, difficulties, training needs and safeguarding issues
To identify any safeguarding issues or concerns to Cafe Staff
To input into Cafe Meetings on the planning of meals and menu’s that might enhance people’s skills
To work within Manchester MIND policies and procedures
