Applicants whose undergraduate field of study is in an area other than MBA PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS Business Administration may need to complete some or all of the following Common Body of Knowledge courses. MBA Core (21 hours) Sem/Yr Credits Grade  These courses can be completed at any AACSB-accredited BA 587 Professional Development SS 12 1 institution. Stay in communication with the MBA Program Coordinator to make sure the course(s) will transfer to NAU BA 653 Individuals, Teams & Careers SS 12 1 properly.  These courses can be completed at NAU as an accepted MBA BA 650 Systems Orientation & Training SS 1 graduate student with provisional status or up to 12 credit hours 12 can be completed as a non-degree seeking graduate student BA 687 Professional Development F 12 1 while completing the MBA application file.  These courses must be completed with a “B” average. BA 654 Managerial Decision Making F 12 4

If the applicant has completed a business degree within the last five years BA 659 Strategy and Leadership F 12 3 at an AACSB-accredited institution, the course work completed, with adequate grades will be accepted course for course as meeting the CBK BA 652 Managing People & Processes S 13 3 requirement. If an area of knowledge was not covered in the applicant’s work then that deficiency must be corrected prior to registration in 600 ACC 650 Financial Rep & Stmt Analysis S 13 3 level courses. If the applicant’s degree is older than five years or is not from an AACSB- BA 651 Customers, Markets & Org S 13 4 accredited institution, the applicant may be asked to complete one or more of the following activities. 1) Provide evidence as to the topic coverage and rigor of course material in question; 2) Complete an examination to demonstrate current competence in the course material in question; or 3) Complete the relevant course(s) with a grade of “B” or better.
