APF RED BOXES: Peter & Theresa Crawley will be collecting the red boxes in this weekend. The money is used in a huge variety of ways to the church’s missions overseas. Please make sure your name is on the box so it can be returned. If you would like a box, please ask them. FIRST HOLY COMMUNION The Rehearsal for the second celebration Mass is on Friday at 2.00pm in church. The First Holy Communion Mass is on Saturday at 2pm. Please pray for our first communicants and their future as members of the community of faith. Many thanks indeed to Mrs Cullen, teachers and staff at Sacred Heart school for all their support and to Valerie Dawson, Ann & Dermot Collon and Mary Dobbs for all their work at the Saturday classes. ANNUAL DEANERY MASS for the feast of our Patron, St Alban is to be held this year on Friday 19th June at 7.30pm in the church of the Holy Ghost. Refreshments afterwards. All welcome. ACT OF WITNESS: in support of life and against abortion outside the Luton & Dunstable hospital on Saturday 20th June from 1pm to 2pm. There continues to be hundreds of unborn children from this area, and thousands nationwide, who do not come to birth. Please come to give them a voice, and to pray for all those involved. Refreshments available afterwards. COUNCIL OF COUNCILS: the annual meeting of parish councils is to take place again on Saturday 27th June at Holy Ghost, 10am -1pm. Mgr Paul Donovan former Vicar General of the Royal Navy is to be the speaker.

ANNUAL NORES LECTURE: on 3rd July 2015, 7.30pm, RE Centre, Holy Ghost Parish: Celebrate the past with joy, live the present with passion, look to the future with hope. Given by Sister Raymunda, OP for the Year of Consecrated Life. All are very welcome to this free lecture which is followed by evening prayer and refreshments. NEWMAN 6TH FORM: thank everyone who contributed to their appeal to help them work at an orphanage in Morocco. £729.45 was collected. FOOD BANK: thank you for your ongoing support.
