7th Grade (Tech 2) Activity 5 Instructions

1. Open a new blank document in Word and save in your folder as FirstLastName_Activity5 2. View the two videos about setting Tabs from the teacher’s website. 3. Change your orientation to landscape 4. Change your top and bottom margins to 0.5” Change your left and right margins to 1.5” 5. Make sure the Line & Paragraph Spacing is set to 1.0 6. Type the title in 26 point, Arial, Bold, Centered (horizontally) (see below for title) 7. Do a hard return and type the subtitle in 18 point, Arial, Bold, Centered (horizontally) 8. There should be a (manual) double space between the title and the text 9. Set tabs at: o Center Tabs at: 0.25” 4.5” 6” 7.5” o Left Tab at: 1.5” 10. The headings are (Rank, Driver, Car #, Points, Behind) Arial, size 14, bold and underline (Remember to push tab once before typing Rank and each word thereafter) 11. The rest of the text is in 14 point, Arial (not bold) 12. Do a Google Search for 2017 NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series Driver Standings to find your information (Remember to press Tab before keying the Rank #s) 13. Right align your first & last name and class period in the footer. Use a hard return so they are both on separate lines. Leave your font at Calibri, size 11 for your name and class period.

14. Insert the NASCAR Monster Energy logo centered below your table. Example below
