Webinar 1: September 19t 2014 (9 am -12 noon). 2.5 TSHA CEUs Title: The Importance of Effective Supervision Session 100691 Presenter: Barbara Solomon, M.S/CCC-SLP Description: This presentation will focus on Supervision and the benefits it brings to students, supervisees, supervisors, and students/clients/patients alike. The presentation will focus on problem-solving a variety of topics relating to clinical supervision. A variety of resources and tools that can be used in practice setting will be discussed.

Webinar 2: October 17,2014 (9 am -12 noon). 2.5 TSHA CEUs Title: LAMP- 101 Session 100720 Presenter: Chelsea Ezell, M.A/CCC-SLP Description: Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP) is an augmentative alternative communication (AAC) approach designed to give individuals who are non- verbal or have limited verbal abilities a method of independently and spontaneously expressing themselves through the use of a voice output communication device. This presentation offers a broad overview ofLAMP's substance and its possible applications. Participants will learn the optimal users for LAMP and how it can improve communication skills.

Webinar 3: November 14, 2014 (9 am -12 noon). 2.5 TSHA CEUs Title: LAMP- The Starting Line Session 100721 Presenter: Chelsea Ezell, M.A/CCC-SLP Description: This presentation will provide practical approaches for implementing the LAMP approach. Videos will be included to show LAMP being used in different settings and communication environments. A brief overview of the purchasing process for a speech generating device will also be reviewed.

Webinar 4: December 12, 2014 (9 am-12 noon). 2.5 TSHA CEUs Title: Ethical Decision-Making: More Complicated Than It Seems! Session 100722 Presenter: Sherry Sancibrian, M.S/CCC-SLP Description: Reading the code of ethics is easy, but making ethical decisions every day can be challenging! This session will offer practice in deciding what is a legal or regulatory matter, what is a workplace issue, and what is an ethical issue. This session will primarily focus on the code of ethics in the Texas rules found in TAC 741, Chapter 22, Subchapter D. Some ethical issues addressed in this presentation relate to both Texas law and the ASHA code of ethics (e.g., conflict of interest, delegation of tasks, accurate documentation, remuneration). rl - ,

How does this child's stuttering Does the stuttering have an adverse effect on this communication? This presentation will address these questions and more in a comprehensive look at multi-dimensional assessments for people who stutter.

Session 100726 Presenter: Nina Reeves, M.S/CCC-SLP Description: This workshop will provide a brief outline of the framework for school age therapy. Following this review, participants will be led through a series of questionnaires of how to discover 11gaps11 in a student's knowledge and skills that may impede progress in therapy. A review of existing resources for further study will be used to help participants frame their professional development in the area of stuttering

Webinar 3: April17, 2015 (9 am -12 noon). 2.5 TSHA CEUs Title: Making Words Visible: Conversation Teaching Kits for Students with High Functioning Autism and Related Conditions Session 100727 Presenter: Joel Shaul, M.S/L.C.S.W Description: Children with high functioning autism, and many other children as well, learn conversation skills better when there is a clear visual reference. This presentation provides clear instruction and free downloads for at least ten conversation lessons based on simple visual prompts, wall displays, worksheets and games, all employing engaging visual strategies.

This presentation provides clear instruction with free downloads on social skills topics such as decreasing isolation, knowing when to be "silly'' vs. "serious," increasing awareness of how words and actions affect other people, and how to express romantic feelings. The featured kits include interactive activities, print-out and play therapeutic games, worksheets and wall displays.
