MENU: Stuffed Crust Pizza, Corn Dog, French Fries, Garden Salad/dressing, Fruit Juice, Green apple wedges, Lemon Dessert

STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENT:

1. We will start selling paring decals and reserved parking decals on Wednesday, August 24th for Seniors. We will sell to Juniors on Thursday, August 25th, and we will sell to any Sopho2.mores on Monday, August29th. Decals will be sold in the commons during lunch only and students will have to fill out a decal card before they can purchase a decal with the tag number, make and model and year of your vehicle. Reserved tickets are 15 and 20 dollars and regular parking decals are 5 dollars. ALL STUDENTS THAT DRIVE ON CAMPUS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A DECAL. FAILING TO PURCHASE A DECAL WILL RESULT IN A PARKING CITATION!

2. Sophomore class t-shirts are on sale this week. Girls baseball tee is $15. Guys t-shirt is $10. Student council members will come around during homeroom this week only. Or, you may see a student council member to place your order.

3.Senior class t-shirts are on sale this week. They have girls, guys, and class shirts on sale for $15 each. Student council members will come around during homeroom this week only. Or, you may see a student council member to place your order.

4.Junior class t-shirts are on sale this week. Class t-shirts are $12. Girls and guys shirts are $20 each. Juniors have a deal for you, also! Buy 2 shirts for $30 or 3 shirts for $45. Student council members will come around during homeroom this week only. Or, you may see a student council member to place your order.

5. Students interested in trying out for the Academic Team will need to sign up outside Mrs. Dent's door in Room W113 by Friday, August 26, 2016. To tryout , you must have a minimum 3.0 GPA overall. Academic Team will practice on Tuesday afternoons and compete in academic quiz bowl competitions around the state. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Dent.

6. The volleyball team is selling Arrow Wear through Friday of this week. T-shirts, Comfort Colors, Dri Fit, Sweats, Spirit Shirts, and more! This is just in time to support all of the fall sports. Please see a player, manager, or Coach Denson or Coach Watters to purchase! 7. Tennis Tryouts will be held on SEPTEMBER 13 at 4:00 at CHS Tennis courts*Bring signed parent consent form *copy of a current physical. See Coach Duke or Coach Adair GUIDANCE OFFICE ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. The Alice Varnado Harden Center for Service and Community Engaged Learning at Jackson State University cordially invites your students to participate in our upcoming Community in Action (CIA) Fair to be held Thursday, September 8, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in JSU's Student Center, 3rd Floor. This event will provide a wealth of information and it is designed to familiarize students with community service and service-learning agencies as well as service opportunities. Please sign up in the Guidance Office by September 1st if you are planning to attend.

2. Vanderbilt admissions will be coming to visit on September 15th. Any student interested in speaking with the admissions counselor will need to sign up on the clipboard in the guidance office by September 12th.
