Fulton Running Club

The Fulton Fire Running Club has been organized to promote fitness, a positive mental attitude and encourage sportsmanship while students compete in the sport of running against other Chandler Elementary Schools. The cost is $10 per student and includes all races and a Running Club T-shirt. Please do not send money with the permission slip, you can pay in the front office or through the parent portal after practice starts. Here are the basics:  Practice is on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 7:25-8:05  Our first practice will be on Monday, November 14, 2016  Our last practice will be on Monday, February 28, 2017. As stated earlier, the students will participate in several races against other Chandler schools while having fun, trying their best and exhibiting good sportsmanship. Our club is a privilege and children who participate need to adhere to the guidelines below or risk being removed from the club.

 Runners must check in for Running Club. Attendance will always be taken.  Runners are expected to follow directions given by the coaches.  Siblings who attend Fulton but don’t participate in running club are not allowed on school property before school.  Too many missed practices will result in being dropped from the club. Students are expected to attend at least one practice per week. Sign up fees cannot be refunded.  All runners (K-6th) must run 1 ½ miles during our scheduled meets.
