LEGO Digital Designer

LEGO digital designer is available as a free down load from LEGO at http://lego.com/en-us/download/. Once you down load the program to your computer, follow the below directions to open and build each of the LEGO models for this year’s game. 1. Save the LEGO model files from this folder (on the 4-H website) to your computer.

2. Open Digital Designer

3. You will need to open the models. Select the box on the right side of the screen that looks like a folder and navigate to the folder that you stored the LEGO model files in from the 4-H website and double click on one of the models.

4. The model should appear on the screen on the building plate.

5. Go to the VIEW menu and select Building Guide Mode

6. The screen will be a blank blue screen. Use the right arrow at the top of the page to see the first brick in the build. Continue to use the right arrow to load all of the pieces of the model.

7. When finished click VIEW and then select Build mode. Then from the FILE menu select open to select the next model.

Note that the color the models will not match the color of the LEGO pieces that you received.
