This is the MS-Word template file containing all the necessary formats and styles to prepare the abstracts of the Thermag VII conference (September 11-14, 2016, Torino, Italy). Please comply with the proposed layout. Abstracts should stay within the one-page limit and should not exceed 500 words. Title (14 points, font type “Calibri”, Bold, centred) can span maximum over two rows and only the first letter is capitalized. Authors’ names (12 points, font type “Calibri”, Bold, centred) are written with initials followed by dot and family names written in full. Authors are marked with superscripts when belonging to different institutions. Authors’ affiliations (11 points, font type “Calibri”, italic, centred) are written in separate rows when they are more than one. Abstract body (11 points, font type “Calibri”) is justified as shown; paragraphs are indented. Mathematical expressions and symbols can be inserted either in-line, e.g. , or they can be typed in independent lines through the equation editor: . Note that paragraphs immediately after equations have a style of their own, lacking the first line indent. You can add one figure (see e.g. fig. 1) accompanied by a caption. You can also add references [1]: please note that “et al.” should be used in references with more than three authors.
