I. Approval of Minutes from the March 18 meeting. Richard Cummings and Marshall Anderson moved approval of minutes, approved with one abstention.

II. Announcements

Greg Cook announced to the committee that the new Master of Social Work and Master of Science in Computer Science were approved at the Board of Regents meeting today. We still need HLC approval for the MSW degree.

A. Curriculum Committee members for 2016-2017 academic year.

Becky Pfeifer reminded committee members to email her when they have confirmed who from their college will be serving on next year’s University Curriculum Committee.

B. Reviewing diversity-designated courses (Kamal, Diversity Committee): draft process

Rashiqa Kamal and Kate Ksobiech were requesting feedback on a new process that they would like to put in place to review diversity (DV) designated courses. Consensus from UCC members was that the draft process looks good and very reasonable.
