Sequence of Teacher Actions: *Motivation/Attention Getter &  Teacher will ask the students to define what a bully is Tie to Previous Learning  Teacher will then ask if anyone has ever been bullied  Teacher will ask how did it make you feel  Teacher will ask how did you solve the problem  Teacher will draw a picture of a person on the large piece of paper

*Significant Teacher Actions to  Teacher will then instruct the students to crumble it up one time and pass Introduce and Guide Lesson it to the next person every time they hear a negative comment made in the book Chrysanthemum  Teacher will then flatten the paper out and discuss what the paper now looks like  Teacher will explain that this is how Chrysanthemum feels after all the comments made  Teacher will instruct the class to say out loud, “I’m sorry Chrysanthemum”  Teacher will then explain that even when someone says “I’m sorry,” you the victim still feels bad.  Teacher will then ask the students what they can do to prevent bullying.
