NOAA-15: There was a significant change in the performance of the NOAA-15 bus & payload subsystems during the past week or so with the exception of the following:

The NOAA-15 Spacecraft is performing nominally in RGYRO mode with Yaw errors of approximately +/- 1 to 2 degree. Currently moon interference is causing brief attitude disturbances exceeding 2 degrees of yaw error because ESA moon conflicts are ignored when RGYRO is controlling (Figure 1).

NOAA-16: There was relatively little change in the performance of the NOAA-16 bus & payload subsystems during the past week with the exception of the following:

NOAA-16's SADPOS thresholds were readjusted back to pre-low sun angle values on 18 March 2010 (10/077) at 19:04:00 UTC. Additionally, the battery charge level was reset back to being based off of the spacecraft patch current rather than the GEODAT eclipse at that same time.

NOAA-17: There was relatively little change in the performance of the NOAA-17 bus & payload subsystems during the past week with the exception of the following:

The NOAA-17 AVHRR Scan Motor performance began degrading in early-January 2010. The TCE24 Control was inhibited at 14:06:46 UTC on 23 March 26, 2010 (10/083). This deactivated the thermal control system, louvres and heaters, on the IMP for the AVHRR. The effect was a rise in temperature of approximately 4-6 C to the AVHRR components (Figure 2). The purpose is to warm the lubricant in the Scan Motor bearings. Following the temperature increase, the Scan Motor current magnitude and deviation decreased slightly. This is an improvement, however the “bar code” noise effect is still present in the data – indicating motor stability has not yet been restored. The MIRP Rephase function will be enabled manually several times in the upcoming week to assess the current condition of the Scan Motor.

NOAA-18: There was relatively little change in the performance of the NOAA-18 bus & payload subsystems during the past week with the exception of the following:

The NOAA-18’s MIMU 1 continues to operate nominally. See Figures 3 & 4. NOAA-19: There was relatively little change in the performance of the NOAA-19 bus subsystems during the past week with the exception of the following:

MetOp-A: There was relatively little change in the performance of the NOAA Instruments on MetOp-A spacecraft during the past week with the exception of the following:
